David Minton

David Minton is a founding partner of DesignHammer, a full-service boutique Web design and development agency based in Durham, North Carolina. He has served as Managing Partner since the company’s founding in 2001, primarily focused on business development. Prior to DesignHammer, he was Vice-President of NetworkArts, another Durham-based Web agency. With nearly 20 years of experience in the Web development industry, he shares his expertise in the tech community as a frequent contributor and speaker at local and regional industry events. David is also active in the nonprofit community, serving on the boards of a number of organizations, most recently as Board Chair of the North Carolina Division of USA Fencing. He graduated from the University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill with a bachelor of arts in Political Science, and continued at UNC to earn a certificate from UNC’s Carolina Business Institute. David is a competitive fencer, winning bronze in Masters Men’s Sabre for Team USA at the 19th World Maccabiah Games in Israel in July 2013. He lives in Durham with his wife and two children.
